Park Report 12/27/2008 We added a new jump last night to the 4 pack under acceletron lift so now we have 5 jumps in the line and we added a few boxes to the run as well. Jay, Eric, Hollywood, and Colby are working hard at night to get lower night park open and the plans for the layout are pretty impressive. The superpipe is a few days away from being completed.

With 20′ in tonight’s forecast and another 8′ tomorrow it was time to pull the plug on a full rebuild. All of the existing park out front that we all know and love from opening day is now gone except for one flat box. The Kidz X park is still up on the right side of castle peak for all the little shredders. The Night Park below the soon to be superpipe will be closed for construction with a late Friday opening. The upper jumps will be seeing some cat time with the new snow but they wont open until possibly the weekend as we are going to make more snow for them starting tomorrow AM through sometime Saturday just because you can never have enough snow. Hollywood will put his touch on the 4 pack but don’t expect it to be back in prime condition until after the storm blows out this weekend. The superpipe is only a few days away…I’ll make an official announcement once I get past the point of no return. Oh the joy of building and maintaining park when you get nearly 7 ft of snow in a little over a weeks time. The long range is calling for some nice extended weather after these last two storms blow through so then it will be game on……
The storm continues to bring more snow and we are working hard to keep the park open and will be adding some new features when the storm is over. Eric and Jay are working hard to get the pipe open. If you have any ideas that you want to see in the park once the rebuild starts let us know. Have fun shredding the pow.

We’ve gotten a good start on the new Acceletron Jumpline. With more snow in the forecast and continued snowmaking on the upper section it wont be long before we add 2 to 3 more jumps to the line. Our goal is to have a line of 7….5 medium table or slightly step over style followed by a solid step down and finished off by a solid step up. Cat work on the upper jumps will start tomorrow along with work on the superpipe. We want to have the top jumps finished by early in the week before the big storm that is forecasted hits us.

4 Pack Jumpline under acceletron lift is opened and approved by none other than Boreal’s own Henry Ryerson. Eric and Jay finished the jumps this morning and they are looking great. Hollywood added his touch to kids x park with a new boardercross course. With more snow on the way we are looking to have lower night park open really soon. The sun is out, the sky is blue, there are still a few stashes of pow, and there is a jumpline. Nothing else needed to say. Come Ride.
