do you guys have any idea when your going to try and get the jumpline up, i know its still really early
We are moving 5 guns to the lower park below the superpipe tonight. As soon as that park is finished then those guns among others will be split between the jumpline and superpipe. We are way way ahead of schedule as far as snowmaking goes so far this season.
Hey can you post some pictures of what the park looks like were your going to start making snow and also is there any other lifts going to open up soon ?
The next chair to open will be the other small beginner lift “Nugget” to the left of the Castle Peak quad. We need several feet of natural snow to open any additional chairs beyond that. This morning we placed 3 more fans at the superpipe in addition to the 2 towers, also another 6 on the lower CORE park below the pipe. So from the top of the pipe to the bottom of the CORE park connecting back at the Accelerator chair we have 12 guns set and ready to go. THe guns at the pipe are set to shift with the wind so when it blows from the east then 3 of them point over the race course. We will also be making more snow in the mini-shred park with the towers on castle peak with west wind the next few nights. When I get a chance later I’ll snap a photo or two of them set ready to good.
